This ancient church was discovered in 2010<\/strong>with dimensions 23 x 19.39 meters<\/strong>It was built in the style basilica<\/strong> The traditional style that was common in Byzantine churches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Architectural design<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The church consists of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- semi-circular curve<\/strong> It is surrounded by two side rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Holy of Holies barrier<\/strong> Which separates the sanctuary from the nave of the church.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Central Square<\/strong> It is surrounded by two side suits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- One main door<\/strong> It is located in the western wall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Stunning mosaic floors<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The church nave floor is one of the finest examples of Byzantine mosaic, framed by intricate, interwoven motifs. 12 octagons<\/strong>It is believed that it contained images that were destroyed during Icon Wars<\/strong>.
The floor of the north wing consists of Intersecting circles<\/strong>Meanwhile, the floor of the south wing consists of Interlocking squares interspersed with circles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\nhistorical inscriptions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
